CMLA provides a professional education organization for ISU students who are interested in becoming middle level educators. We participate in professional development by interacting with educators and young adolescents in the community. Our meetings consist of professional development opportunities, community service opportunities, and social events. We meet once a month on Sunday evenings. In addition to our monthly meetings, we provide national professional development opportunities through our national affiliate Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE).
There is an annual membership fee of $25 in order to reap all the benefits of this organization. A few of the benefits include a membership to Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE), meeting resources, and a custom lanyard.
